New Home Bits!

I love my room at my uni house so I thought I would buy some new bits to freshen it up.
My first stop was Primark, where I bought this fab flamingo bedspread. It's such a fun design and an absolute bargain! I also got these two heart shaped cushions which were only £3 each!

I then bought these cute little picture frames which I thought would look so lovely on my wall. I love taking pictures and remembering all the good times so I can't wait to print some pictures to fill these with!

I'm a sucker for a scented candle and these smell so lush! Appletini and Watermelon Lemonade- perfect summery scents and I loved the packaging.
(Also, check out my jar holding skills, this is impressive)

I love fairy lights and these were too sweet not to buy! They are from Ikea and they do them in clear bulbs as well, but I couldn't resist these purple ones. They make my room so much more cosy at night!

I got a few kitchen bits from Ikea as well. The first was this glass which matched my new bedding perfectly, so I had no choice but to buy it.

Next was a pink bowl and cup which are such a pretty colour!

I love buying bits for my bedroom and I always have to stop myself spending all my money!! My room is looking pretty darn cute at the moment, even if I do say so myself.

Lush Bath Bombs

Being at home over easter meant that I could have a bath. Aaaaaahhh I love a nice, hot, relaxing bath. Don't worry, I do wash regularly hahaa but while I am in Southampton I have to make do with just having a shower (our bathtub is quite skanky). Now, don't get me wrong, showers are great, but there is nothing quite like a bubble bath at the end of the day.

To really indulge while I was at home I went and bought my first ever Lush bath bombs! How is it that I've managed to reach the age of 20 without buying a Lush bath bomb?!
The first one I used was the little pink one, a Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment. Oooooh it was so nice! It doesn't look like much but it smelt like candy floss and made the bath all pink. This one was actually a bath melt, not a bath bomb, and has cocoa butter which meant it was soooo moisturizing and good for my skin. I was all soft and smooth when I got out!
It fizzed away in my bath for such a long time, I felt like I could have cut it in half and still had an amazing bath. But, alas, I only thought of this half way through so could only get one use out of it. But it was such a nice product and I will defo get one again.

The other one I bought was the Dragon's Egg. It was colossal! It looked like a pretty bog standard bath bomb on the outside, but inside it was all orange and turned the bath the same colour!! It fizzed everywhere and I defo didn't need to use all of it in one bath! I could have got at least four baths with it! But, like I said, I'm a Lush newbie, so how was I supposed to know!?
It had a really lovely citrusy scent that made the bathroom smell amazing! It also had a bit of popping candy in it which I didn't know, so I was sitting in the bath really confused, thinking that the bathroom was slowly falling apart. This was such a fun product to use, but there are so many other bath bombs to try that I think I'll hold of buying another of these before I've tried all the rest!

So it turns out I love Lush products and I'm kicking myself that I've never used them before. Although I find some of their products a little pricey, I will defo buy some more stuff to treat myself to a lovely bath every now and again!

What's your favourite Lush bath bomb?

Choccywoccydoodah

Today, myself, my Mum and my little sister Hannah went up to London to enjoy Hannah's last day of the Easter holidays. We went to Choccywoccydoodah for some chocolate goodness (because obvs we haven't eaten enough chocolate these past few weeks....) and wandered around the shops on Regents Street, buying lots of stuff (whoops!). Choccywoccydoodah is a chocolate shop with a small cafe upstairs and OH MY GOSH it's fab.
We got the idea to go after I made my Mum watch their program on TLC, where you see just how they make their amazing cakes/ works of chocolate art! They sell all sorts of amazing things, including a chocolate bar with bits of bacon in it. Not sure if this is a horrible idea or the best thing ever to happen?
We shared a HUGE chocolate cake and a selection of goodies with chocolate dipping pots. I also had a hot chocolate which was like drinking melted chocolate!
So excited that my chins came out, OH HAIII!
It was soooooo good, but oh my god it was so sickly! Felt a bit ill afterwards, but it was SO WORTH IT!

If only it was acceptable to have chocolate for lunch everyday....

We spent the rest of the day shopping and walking around London which hopefully burnt off all the calories we ate! It was such a lovely day and I bought some nice bits for summer, although now I've gotta start working on my summer body, no more pigging out like this! (lol jk, I will defo be going back here soon)
